World of Warcraft: A new extension and a classic bonus version

World of Warcraft comes to blow his thirteenth candle, but it is still dashing. Proof of this is, Blizzard took the BlizzCon 2017 to lift the veil on the seventh of the title extension and a new classic version designed especially for fans of the first hour.

The oldest remember without doubt, but the MMORPG market was extremely dense in the 2000s and the role-players had the choice between a numbers of different titles.

Battle for Azeroth: the new expansion for World of Warcraft

Four years later, in 2008, Blizzard's MMORPG alone totaled nearly 62% of gamers of the persistent universe RPG. Of course, this trend continued in the following years and the famous publisher announced that it had exceeded the bar of 12 million of active accounts in October 2010, to the general stupor.

Since then, World of Warcraft has largely lost its superb, but this does not prevent it from occupying a central place in Blizzard's strategy.

The latter took advantage of its annual convention to shed any light on the seventh of the title extension: Battle for Azeroth. Located after the fall of the Burning Legion, the history around this extension will focus on tensions between the Alliance and the Horde.

For the most trivial details, it will also enable the heroes to go up to level 120 and even start directly at level 20 to avoid losing time with his ALTs.

At the same time, Blizzard also introduced ten new dungeons (five per faction) and a new raid giving access to eight boss.

Fans will also be able to visit two new continents, Islands through scenarios designed for three players and they will have access to the mechanics of the heart of Azeroth, to a war front mode and cooperative raids of twenty players.

World of Warcraft Classic, for the first time fans

World of Warcraft Classic was the second big feature of the conference.

Blizzard did not go into details, but the Editor still indicated this version was intended to fans of the first hour and all the vanilla experience.

In other words, this version will look like the first version of the title and it will thus focus on the old system of progression.

On paper, it's rather promising and even the elders of Elysium praised Blizzard for this initiative. However, the latter well insisted on the fact this version was not scheduled for tomorrow and she should not go out until next year.
