OVERWATCH: A Pro Player has signed a contract for $150,000 per year


Overwatch has managed to federate a large community of players around him and some even come to live their passion. Jay Won is part of it and he just signed a very juicy contract with NRG.

For a long time, video games were considered a subgenre of entertainment and it sufficed to say that you wanted to make it your profession in 90's  to draw on you a mingled glances of misunderstanding and pity.

E-Sport,  is doing very well


E-sports is doing very well indeed and the organizers of the Olympics are considering even to make a full-fledged discipline with some reservations still.

Jay Won fell into the pot during adolescence and he quickly made a name on Overwatch. Only seventeen years old, our friend is even considered one of the best players in its class. Both teams approached him to try to recruit: NRG Esports and Cloud9.

After carefully considering their proposal, Jay decided to wear his choice on the first team. A logical choice gave the content of the proposal. NRG has proposed the adolescent an annual contract paid $150,000 a year. Not bad, right? Certainly, and even more when we know that this amount does not include any potential gains from the team awards during the tournaments.

Accordingly, the teenager could earn a lot more money if it happens to properly carry out his boat and win prizes.

Then, of course, everyone can't hope to win such a large amount, but at least, this story proves that it is now quite possible to live - and even live - video games.
