Its manufacturer, the brand of professional cameras red, has announced that this model will benefit from a unique screen that can broadcast 3d content but also holographic content without the need for glasses. An innovation straight out of a sci-fi film but that should arrive on the market as early as 2018.
A COMPANY SPECIALIST IN PROFESSIONAL CAMERAS
Not to be confused with the mobile operator, RED is also an American company specializes in manufacturing of professional cameras used especially in making movies in Hollywood. And if the firm is well known in his field, it seems to have decided to tackle a new sector with the announcement of its first smartphone called Hydrogen One.
THE WORLD'S FIRST HOLOGRAPHIC PHONE
This device running Android denotes particularly by one of its specificity : its screen. According to RED, the Hydrogen will be the first holographic phone in the world. The device will be equipped with a 5.7-inch screen capable of distributing both content in 2D, 3D or even hologram.Especially, the user will not need special to be able to enjoy the 3D effect or holographic glasses. If RED has not yet shown how this technology works, the company has already announced a dedicated channel to holographic content 'RED Hydrogen 4-View' to enjoy movies, documentaries, games, etc via their smartphone.
A MODULAR DEVICE
The image of his cameras for the cinema, the RED phone is also modular. This will make it possible to add accessories to improve the system and adapt it to its uses. Provide $1195 for the "aluminium" and 1595 for the "Titanium" model. High prices for a high-end product that caters to the familiar users of red cameras.
