System76 is an American manufacturer of computers (laptop, desktop, servers) that has the particularity to deliver his gear with Linux installed on it unlike 99% of other big PC manufacturers.
You don't need to take the lead to find compatible with his favorite distro stuff. But System76 does not stop there, since they have just announced that they will come out in October 2017 their own Linux distribution. Called Pop! OS, this distro based on Ubuntu 17.04 yet is designed for content creators of all kinds: designers of 3D models, developers, scientists, writers, graphic designers, or Geo artist of the 21st century.
I have read a lot of topics on their Reddit and I confess that as much the "creator" side charms me much (it is more obvious than to say that it is a distrib designed for gamers or for the founders of office ...) lol) as much I still have trouble seeing the differentiating side with a classic Ubuntu apart from the rather cool look. But what I tested is still an alpha so I hope it will clear up as and when. Only if the most widely used graphics tablets on the market could all work directly, it would make a little more sense.
