ANDROID 8.1 OREO: WHAT’S NEW FEATURES IN THE DEVELOPER PREVIEW 2
If Android 8.0 Oreo is already available for a few weeks, especially in some manufacturers like Sony or Nokia, Google does not stop in such a good way and now board on Android 8.1. While the Mountain View giant used to make us take advantage of a single large variation of Android a year, things have been a bit complex since the launch of Android Nougat, which was already taking advantage of major updates.
Oreo therefore follows the same idea, and will thus have a first major update in the coming weeks. The latter makes it talk about her today through the developer Preview 2, which just pointed the tip of her nose. But let's get to the facts, what does the DP2 of this version 8.1 of Android?
Well according to early returns, it especially reinforces some shortcomings of the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2, essentially in photo and video.
We learn for example that the worries of micro encountered by some users in video mode have been fixed, but also that the chip Pixel Visual Core (expected to substantially improve the quality of the shots) is finally turned on - and it has all the applications using the double sensor photo (not only the dedicated so photo app).

However, these improvements are added to the list of innovations provided by Android 8.1. Especially the more discreet notifications, the simplified restoration of data, the presence of an adaptive theme, the activation of neuronal APIs, or the presence of a real Easter Egg – hidden somewhere in the system.
